Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

Value Headshots provides professional headshot photography services, including on-location sessions at a client’s home, office, or agreed-upon location. We bring professional lighting and equipment to create studio-quality results on site.

2. Booking & No Upfront Cost Policy

There is no upfront cost required to book an on-location headshot session with Value Headshots.

After the session:

• You will review the images from your session

• You may select the photos you would like to purchase

• You only pay for the images you choose

If you decide not to purchase any images, no payment is required.

3. Session Time & Setup

• Typical setup time is approximately 30 minutes

• Session length usually ranges from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the session type and number of participants

• Please ensure the agreed-upon space is available and accessible at the scheduled time

Delays caused by lack of access, space constraints, or unprepared participants may reduce shooting time.

4. Image Selection & Payment

• Pricing is communicated in advance or at the time of image selection

• Payment is due once final image selections are confirmed

• Images will be professionally retouched according to our standard editing style

Purchased images are delivered digitally. Unselected images are not delivered.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• We understand that schedules change.

• If you need to reschedule, please provide as much notice as possible

• Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may require a booking fee for future sessions

• We reserve the right to reschedule in the event of illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control

6. Client Responsibility & On-Location Sessions

• For on-location sessions, the client agrees to:

• Provide a safe and suitable environment for photography equipment

• Ensure that all participants are prepared and available during the session time

• Take responsibility for pets, children, or other distractions during the session

• Value Headshots is not responsible for issues arising from unsafe or unsuitable locations.

7. Artistic Style & Editing

• By booking a session, you acknowledge that:

• You have reviewed our portfolio and are familiar with our style

• Editing decisions, including color, contrast, and retouching approach, are made at our professional discretion

• Requests for additional or extensive retouching beyond our standard offering may be subject to additional fees.

8. Usage Rights & Licensing

• Upon full payment:

• Clients receive a license to use purchased images for personal and professional purposes (e.g., LinkedIn, websites, marketing materials)

• Images may not be resold, transferred, or used in a misleading or unlawful manner

• Value Headshots retains the copyright to all images and may use selected images for portfolio, website, or marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

• While every effort is made to provide high-quality services:

• Value Headshots is not liable for circumstances beyond our control, including equipment failure, location limitations, or unforeseen interruptions

• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for purchased images

10. Privacy

• Client information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties except as required to deliver our services.

11. Agreement

• By booking a session or participating in a photography session with Value Headshots, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
